What is the difference between a confidential and an anonymous survey?
Confidential surveys connect participant responses to their demographics that are entered into the platform. This connection, however, is not shared and results are only shown in aggregate. Anonymous surveys are unable to connect responses to the participant because data is collected via an open survey weblink that is not linked to a specific participant.
How long should I keep my survey open?
Engagement surveys are usually open for 2 to 3 weeks. This timeframe can be shorter or longer depending on the population size and the communication strategy in place. We suggest sending reminder notifications for engagement surveys twice a week while the survey is open.
Exit and New Hire surveys are typically always on to allow for continuous feedback with emails and/or SMS notifications being sent weekly.
Pulse surveys are shorter in length and are typically open for a few days to a week.
Who is sent email and SMS notifications?
Anyone assigned to the survey will be sent an email and/or SMS notification if:

You have enabled SMS and/or email for your survey.

Participants have an email address and/or phone number available.

Participants have not yet completed the survey.
Notifications are not sent to anyone who has completed more than 25% of the assigned survey
Can the email and/or SMS notification message be different for each reminder sent?
Email and SMS notification messages can be updated at any time. To do so, go to the settings for your survey and edit. The new message will go out at the next scheduled date.
How long does it take notifications to send?
Notifications are queued to go out at the time you have selected in your survey settings (MST). It is not guaranteed that all notifications will go out exactly at the time selected as the notification. This is dependent on the number of participants and surveys queued at that time. Typically, all notifications go out within the hour of their designated time.
What time does the survey open and close?
Your survey will open on the selected start date at 12:00am MST. Your survey will close on the selected end date at 11:59pm MST.
What email address will the survey invites/reminders come from?

Why did my edits to the survey settings not save?
It is important for only one user to be in the settings page when making edits. Having multiple users in the same survey settings simultaneously can lead to issues with changes not being saved correctly.
