Can I create a survey in multiple languages?
  • Over 110 languages are available through the support of Google Translate.
  • Your surveys can be made available in multiple languages in just a few easy steps. Review this article to learn how to create your surveys in multiple languages.
How do I change my survey name?
  • To edit the name of a survey, go to manage surveys and select the current survey name. Click the pencil icon next to the survey name in the upper right corner. Once you have made your edits, either click out or hit enter.
Can I copy/duplicate a survey?
  • To copy or duplicate a survey, go to manage surveys and select the paper icon of the survey you want to copy. Your new survey will be created with "Copy_0_" at the beginning of the survey name. You will need to edit the survey name and set up the survey settings, but all survey categories and question will have copied over exactly.

Can I import a survey into the platform?
  • Surveys can be created by using our preset templates or by creating your own custom survey. There is not an import option.
When should I make questions required?
  • Survey questions should only be made required if necessary for understanding results. Try to keep the number of required questions to a minimum. By requiring a response, you are forcing participants to answer a survey question that may not pertain to them, or they may not know the answer. This can result in biased or skewed results.
  • Making questions required does not guarantee a response for that question, as the participant still has the option to quit the survey without responding to the required question.
Can I edit a question scale on an open survey?
  • Question scales can be edited up until data is collected for that question. Once data has been collected, the question scale is locked and can not be changed.
Can I change the style or font of as question or category text?
  • Formatting of questions or category text can’t be updated (italics, color, size, etc.). Clickable links are also not available to use in question or category text.

How do I reverse the scale (1 is strongly agree & 5 is strongly disagree)?

  • Don't reverse the scale. Reporting is designed to report out mean and favorability scores for single-select items. Favorability is always calculated using the top scores (4's and 5's for a 5-point scale), never the lower end of the scale.

How do I reorder questions within a category?

  • To reorder your survey questions within the same category, use the reorder icon. Simply drag and drop your questions into the wanted order.

Why are my edits/changes not saving?

It is important for only one user to be in the survey builder when creating/editing. Having multiple users in the same survey simultaneously can lead to issues with changes not being saved correctly.
