What does “Comparison to Company” mean?
If you have access to all survey data (no DLA restrictions), the comparison to company column shows you how many percentage points above or below each question/category/demographic is when compared to the overall favorability score. The overall favorability score can be found on the dashboard page.
If you have data-specific access (DLA), the comparison to company column shows you how many percentage points above or below each question/category/demographic is when compared to that same question/category/demographic score for the entire company.
How do I view historical data?
You can compare the survey data you see to previous data based on a selected timeframe or to a different survey.
If comparing to a different survey, you will see the percent favorability difference between the current data and all the data for the survey selected.
If comparing to previous data based on a selected time frame, you will see the favorability percent difference from the current survey to an earlier time for the same survey. For example, if your current survey view is for 1/1/23 - 3/31/23 and you selected to compare to Last month, the comparison column will compare results from 12/1/22 - 12/31/22.
Why does the total number of responses not match the total responses in the dashboard?
Participants might skip questions or only respond to the open ended items. The N in the summary chart shows how many participants answered that question. The total responses number on the dashboard shows how many participants answered at least one survey question.
