Rehire Report

The rehire report helps to identify which of your exiting employees would consider returning to your organization and what it would take for them to return.

By identifying employees who are likely to return, you can take proactive measures to maintain a positive relationship, such as maintaining communication channels, providing support during their absence, and offering incentives or opportunities for their potential return. Replacing one employee can cost up to 2x their annual salary and it can take one to two years for a new hire to reach the productivity of an existing or former employee. Rehiring even one person by using your rehire potential report, can pay for your entire employee listening program.
This report can be pulled if any of the following questions from the rehire potential category within our library are in your exit survey:
  • I would consider returning to the organization
  • I would consider returning to the same department
  • I would consider returning to the same manager
  • What would it take for you to return to the organization?
  • If you responded with a 3 or above to any of the Rehire Potential questions, the organization is interested in receiving your information. All your other answers to this survey remain confidential. Do you give permission for us to share your name, contact information, and comments from the Rehire Potential section with the organization regarding future potential employment?

To see names and contact information in this report, you must include the last question listed above to get permission. If this item is not included in your survey, permission will automatically default to "no" and contact information will be listed as confidential.

Users with provisioned access to the rehire potential role will be able to access and download this report. If you do not see rehire report as an additional export option, check with the individual who gave you access to the platform to have this role assigned to you.

How do I pull a Rehire Report?

Set your data filters to your exit survey for the needed timeframe and demographic breakout (optional) you wish to view data for. Once set, click on more options (three vertical dots) in the REPORTS tab to view additional exports. Select rehire report.
Use the demographic dropdown menu to select a demographic breakout to be included in your report. Keep as "no breakout" if you don't want demographic data included. Click export to download your rehire report.
To schedule this report to be pushed via email on a set cadence, provide the email addresses and select the frequency of report (daily, weekly, monthly, or quarterly), then hit save. Once saved, you can find these reports in your favorites page. Here you can edit, download, or delete your saved reports.
