How to Set Up eNPS as a Reportable Demographic

While the dashboard eNPS metric does not require additional configuration for data to populate, you may want the ability to sort the rest of your survey data by these eNPS groups. Here are the steps you can take if you want to explore your data further by viewing responses from Promoters, Passives, and Detractors.
Pull in the appropriate eNPS question (shown below) from our library into your survey (if not already included) and link the question to a demographic called eNPS.

You will need to create the eNPS demographic before you can link it to the question within your survey. Here is an article on how to create this demographic.

To link your eNPS demographic to your eNPS survey question, read the last paragraph of this article then follow instructions here to allow the system to convert/code participant responses to your eNPS demographic.
If using the 5-point scale eNPS question (I would recommend the organization as a good place to work),use the below to create your conversion:
  • Promoters (scored 5)
  • Passives (scored 4)
  • Detractors (scored 1-3)
If using the 10-point scale eNPS question (How likely would you be to recommend the organization as a good place to work?), use the below to create your conversion:
  • Promoters (scored 9-10)
  • Passives (scored 7-8)
  • Detractors (scored 1-6)
As responses are collected, the system will code participant’s responses to the appropriate eNPS group when they complete their survey. This demographic will then be available in reporting.
