Create Custom Reports

The Custom Report Builder allows you to create personalized reports that fit your unique reporting needs. You can create these reports by clicking the report builder icon available on any page within the reports tab, with the exception of the comments page.

How to Use the Custom Report Builder

The report builder guides you through setting up your basic report information. This includes choosing which survey(s) you’d like to report on, naming your report, applying any desired data filters, and defining a date range for your report.

You can incorporate a wide range of data into your custom report, such as dashboard metrics, report charts, and verbatim comments. Note that if multiple surveys are selected, data populates in all reports in aggregate and is not available to split out between surveys.

Dashboard

Select the dashboard metrics you wish to include in your report. You may select one, multiple, or all. If none are selected, the dashboard page will be excluded from your report.

Adding Charts

The Charts section of the builder enables you to incorporate up to 15 charts into your report. To add a chart, simply choose your desired chart type from the carousel of options. Then customize the chart’s appearance by adjusting the view, applying relevant filters, and selecting specific charting elements. Once you have completed your customizations, click the orange + Add Chart to Report button. The page will then refresh to step 1, allowing you to add additional charts and further refine your report to meet your unique needs.

Including Sentiment Analysis and Verbatim Comments

If your user permissions allow, you can include sentiment analysis and/or verbatim comments to your report by using the toggles to enable. Once toggled on, select which comment questions to include in your report.

Organizing Chart Order

You can organize the order of charts within your report to suit your preferences. Drag and drop each chart element to customize the order they display. Sentiment and verbatim comments will display in the same report section.

Scheduling Reports

You can set up your reports to be automatically delivered to designated email addresses on a regular basis. Simply choose your preferred report format, specify how often you want the emails to be sent, and enter the email addresses you wish to receive the reports.

Edit and Copy Saved Reports

Once your report is built to your specifications, click Save Report. Your report will be saved in the Favorites page where you can edit, download, or delete your report at any time.

Use the copy icon to duplicate your report and make modifications as needed.

Exporting Reports

You can easily download your saved reports in either PDF or PowerPoint format at any time using the download icon. Simple client the download icon, select the preferred format, and download. Note that verbatim comments will not export into PowerPoint
