Create Action Plans

The People Element platform is designed to get you to action quickly. When using survey questions from the People Element library, our platform looks at your results and guides you to suggested actions.

 
To create an action plan, click the ACTION tab at the top of your screen. If your survey is using questions from the People Element library, you’ll see up to three suggested action items for each question. Based on your results, opportunity areas are listed in order of potential impact to your group and/or company.
You can view suggested action items for a survey question by clicking the down arrow to the right of your question. You may choose to use these action items as is, or edit or delete.
  • To delete, click X
  • To edit, click within the item’s text box to start editing.
To create an action plan click +add plan. To see additional survey questions and actions, click view more at the bottom of your screen.

You must click +add plan, fill out the action plan form, and save before your action plans will save within the platform.

Add a Plan

To create and save your action plans, complete the required fields marked with an asterisk. Action plans cannot be imported into the platform.

  • Survey name: The name of the survey for which the question came from and is not editable.
  • Item of focus: The survey question the action plan is based on and is not editable.
  • Item score: The percent favorability score for your question and is not editable.
  • Plan name*: Create a name that reflects the area of focus.
  • Plan creator: Auto populated based on the user logged in and creating the plan.
  • Action item(s): Edit as needed. These are the specific actions you’ll take to fulfill your plan.
  • Start date*: Use the calendar to select the date this plan will go into effect.
  • End date*: Use the calendar to select the date this plan will be completed.
  • Plan status*: Mark the action plan as pending, open, or complete.
  • Notes: Track helpful notes related to your plan.
After your action plan is created, click save.

Action Plans

All saved action plans are available in the action plans page. You can view, edit, and delete your action plans here.
Action plans can be sorted by any column or use the search function to find an action plan. Access to other people’s plans depends on your permission level. If you only have access to a specific function or group, the only plans you will see are your plans.
  • To edit, click the plan name. This will take you to the plan details to edit and save.
  • To delete, click the trash icon.
  • You can download all action plans into an excel file using the download icon in the upper right corner of the page.
