Comment Analysis

With provisioned access, open-ended responses to a survey can be found in the comments page of the REPORTS tab.

People Element's AI-powered comment analysis utilizes Natural Language Processing (NLP) to understand, interpret, and generate analyses from human language in a meaningful way.

To help see trends faster, the comment analysis widget allows you to identify topics and sentiment across your comment questions.

  • Topic analysis summarizes and themes comments into trending topics to proactively address areas that require attention.
  • Word cloud visualization delivers an easy view in which the size of each word indicates its frequency mentioned in comments. Click on a word to drill down to trending keywords and view verbatim comments. The word cloud can be viewed by topics or words.
  • Sentiment analysis utilizes statistics to determine whether a piece of text is positive, negative, or neutral by isolating words present in the text. Each of these words contributes to a score calculation which is then translated to the positive, negative, and neutral results you see.
  • The People Element sentiment accuracy rates, based on the survey template questions, are shown to be above 70%. A sentiment analysis model is considered strong when the accuracy rate is above 70%.
