Benchmark Report

Our benchmarking helps you understand how your employee experiences compare to others. This PDF report allows you to see how your scores compare to our global and industry-specific benchmarks.

Comparisons provide valuable insight into how your organization changes over time, how groups compare to each other, and how you compare to other similar organizations. The benchmark report will only display data for questions pulled from the People Element question library, it will not report out on custom made questions.

What is the composition of the benchmark?

Our benchmarks use real employee data, not data collected by market research providers. Benchmarks are based on the employee journey as experiences for new employees can be significantly different from those of exiting employees. Your benchmark is based on the type of survey and library questions used. Data includes feedback collected over the past 5 years.

What is a global benchmark vs an industry benchmark?

A global benchmark averages data across organizations and industries at a question level and is based on a comparable employee experiences from new hire to current employees to exiting employees. Benchmark comparisons can be provided for the below industries if a comparison is available:

How are benchmarks calculated?

All benchmark scores are the average favorability score of each question. In reporting, you will see the difference in your organization’s score from the benchmarks score displayed. Positive numbers represent your data being above the benchmark average and negative numbers represent your data being below the benchmark average. To ensure data is not biased towards large organizations, scores are calculated at a company level and then averaged. Benchmarks are calculated at the question level and will only display for questions pulled from the People Element question library, it will not report out on custom made questions.
